    Howdy

I have some fast glass -e,g, 40mm F/1,4 on my Bessa R3M - and I love to shoot big fast apertures!

Obviously with shutter speeds being typically lower on film cameras (1/2000" on the Bessa - half that on those pesky Leicas!) it's difficult to shoot that fast in daylight.

Has anyone used ND filters on film and noticed and degradation in image quality?
  2. No, not if you go for the likes of Hoya filters or other Schott glass, you should be fine Dave.

Ta - I have a few but alas not the right size. I think I'll invest in a good quality variable ND for the Nokton 40mm F/1.4 - thanks.

Or maybe just go for a good 3 stop.
