Wood Mouse.

  1. Young wood mouse feeding on acorn. Could be a bit sharper.
(I stand to be corrected on my ID of type of mouse.)

    Well spotted.
  5. Nice to see one alive and with its head still attached. One of the local cats is forever bringing us gifts.
I'll save you the shot of my miceisis and ratties. And I've lost count of birds this year, including a Wood Pigeon I managed to rescue from him, it was injured but I managed to get it back to fitness and released it up near Haigh Hall.
  6. Well spotted and togged.
  7. Ah the woodmouse. Latin name moggius moggius
    Great find and well captured
  8. Looks like it's enjoying the feast in number 1 - well spotted and captured!
  9. Nice shot, Good focus and colour. Is that an acorn it is trying to eat? If so it gives a good indication to the size of the mouse.
  10. Aww looks cute!
  11. Cracking shots :)
