I`ve just had a pop up on my computer regarding windows 10 apparently I can get it for free. has anyone got the same pop up and do you think its worth going for
Yes, I believe anyone who has windows 7 and windows 8 will get the free upgrade. Is it worth upgrading? Time will tell. I got the same pop up and elected to take the free upgrade. You don't have to upgrade straight away so I will wait a little while and see what kind of buzz is going on around t'interweb.
Yes there is a free upgrade and this will show as an icon in the taskbar. I have been testing win 10 and its quite good. Be aware that this will not show on domain connected computers. Also be aware that if you are using a shared computer at home if one of the family clicks for the free upgrade you may log on to your system to find it all different sometime after 29/07/2015.
I shall wait until a lot more people have tried it and not found it wanting! They haven't offered it to me though.
