Waiting for Spring

Discussion in 'Anything else' started by WernerG, Apr 21, 2018.

  1. We had a nice 3 hours of spring today. By the time I finished yard work and got out with the camera it looked and felt like winter again.

  2. It certainly still looks like winter in #4
I like #1, nice line of boats ready for summer.

Looks a nice spot. Tell us more...
  4. The first three were taken at local marina mostly servicing lobster fishermen. They haul out the boats in the fall, bottom wash and store them. The lobstermen generally work on their own boats to prepare for the next season. I stop by occasionally to get some shots of activity. There was none that day. The fourth is at another wooden boat builder/restorer. The picnic table is just there for whoever wants to use it. The water in the background is Eggemoggin Reach which separates Deer Isle from the Blue HIll Peninsula. The scene is much prettier when things green up around here but that is still weeks away.
  5. Nicely done Werner.
