Disused locks on the "Northern Reaches" of the Lancaster Canal at Tewitfield this afternoon. Colour or black & white?

  2. Good find and well shot.
  3. Much as I like mono, I think the colour just edges it.

    Nice to have the choice.

A moody of old, disused and gloom normally suggests mono and I think that's best here. Probably...

I'm planning to walk up the full 8 lock flight with some local toggery pals next week. And there's a pub/cafe at the bottom. AND it's on the way to yon limestone and tree place. *hint hint if anyone is every round these parts :D
  6. Nice shots.
I prefer the colour as its easier to spot the water in the background
  7. No 1 for me

    Stansgang Keep it straight!

I would like to see the first one in mono with the tighter crop.
  9. I like them both and the tree hanging over the canal in #2 edges it for me
