Always good to see them. Nice details. The town hall itself is a bit of a cowboy town building (no, not financially, I'm not doing satire). It just feels a lot thinner than you'd expect when going in for such a substantial entrance.
Now those are gates I expect to see with St Peter stood next to them, with his clipboard saying. "No, not you......."
They are grand gates, but nowadays I just think they wouldn't look out of place at a Donald Trump property. Just a bit OTT.
They dont half keep them in good order....painted for the Tour of Britain that had a stage finish there a couple of years back.
wow beautiful, I initially thought they were the ones into St James Park near Buckingham Palace, has that palacial look. Great detail shots too
