A dull Easter Sunday in Central London. No photography allowed inside Sir Christopher's great Cathedral as it was a day only open for services. I can respect that (plenty others did not). I got my interesting angles around the place instead. 1. The Festival Gardens: 2. Home of some curious statues: 3. And some decent ones too. John Donne, once Dean of the Cathedral and a favourite poet: 4. A semi permanent exhibition of endangered animals in Paternoster Square: 5. And a recognition of the former livestock purposes of Paternoster Square in this 49 year old bronze: 6. Just a nice angle I found whilst sporting the wide angle: 7. Or if you prefer it with a clear subject. Have a Cathedral:
An excellent, varied set, showing different aspects of the cathedral and its surroundings. I particularly like Number 1.
Thank you. And I sent you a WhatsApp closeup of the nice but terribly expensive meal I had in the restaurant on the right of that shot.
Great views of a very familar place, suspect we had an office lunch at that very expensice plaee The animals are new additions
