What a difference a few weeks make. This is what the courgette looks like a few weeks after the end of summer comp. Thought it resembled an OAP (no disrespect to any on this forum ). It was the one on the left in the second picture.
It is a courgette. It is the round type that you need to take off the plant a day or two after the flower. If they stay on for 5 days or more they are huge like pumpkins. The good thing about this type if they keep for a reasonable time.
