Good timing, just enough Sky left for a balance.
  3. Excellent exposure, nicely framed shot.
  4. Yes very nice that and I like the bit of movement in the trees
  5. Thats a cracker dood
The soft feel from the movement in the trees frames it very well
  6. Stansgang

    Stansgang Keep it straight!

I like how the trees in front add depth,a grand building well togged.
  7. Dvorak

    Dvorak The Horizon Police

    Another of Lord Ashton's Memorials.

Splendid here - and their lighting balances your choice of lighting time for the shot. Imposing but warm too.
  8. Excellent picture of the Town Hall and as above the lighting is great, accentuated by the choice of B&W. Given the pin sharp building my eye also picked up on the blurred branches, which at first seem out of place. Was it a long exposure and the blurring is due to ghosting?

Yes - it was dark - so yes - 4.3 seconds!
  10. I agree with all the nice things said above. Looks a lot more interesting building than Haigh Hall!
  11. Oooh... I do like this. A lot! The movement in the trees and the light still left in the sky make it very special :)
