You might recall my Croatian hilltop town (Motovun). Well this is what they typically look like close up, this one is a different one though its called Groznjan. Fascinating place, in the middle of nowhere. Its quite a drive up a long dirt track to get there. 1 Grožnjan by Paul Bennett, on Flickr 2 Tito Street by Paul Bennett, on Flickr 3 Groznjan Street by Paul Bennett, on Flickr 4 My lad Groznjan George by Paul Bennett, on Flickr 5 Admiring this view. No1 is fabulous and my pick. No2 is a good shot. No3 , 7 & 9 are good too, but I think could have been lightened a tad more. No8 tells a good story, but looks a bit noisy. Good set mate.
Those streets are really full of old character. Looks a lot more careworn than Porec where I was. God set.
Thank you for getting close in - it's terrific to have a tour around the place. Shot one has lots of potential and fab light in the background: but the odd processing and CA really distracts. Absolutely well worth another go to get the best out of it: less HDR and more work on the sky. Please revisit it. I'll add in a nod for shot two as well - this kind of image is always a good find, especially so in a less-familiar location.
I'm always good for another re run but I must confess to a lack of knowledge here, can you tell me what CA stands for? One I know what it is I might be able to have less of it!!
Chromatic abberation, fringing where light meets dark generally. There is a auto removal function for it in light room, numerous fixes for it in PS.
