Eastwell Park Towers

Discussion in 'Architecture' started by Polly, Dec 7, 2023.

  1. Just outside Ashford on the A251, original main gateway to Eastwell Park & Manor - built in 1848. Driven past heaps of times, but couldn't resist yesterdays stunning blue sky.

  7. Well worth the effort - thanks Polly. A fine bit of architecture - it reminds me of the some of the servants quarters on the @Dvorak estate!!!

  9. Looks like a mini tower of London.
    Fab building well shot.
I'm glad its not just me who likes clear blue skies, some landscape photographers absolutely slate blue skies has boring.
They are few and far between, and this shot just shows they work well with some subjects.

  10. Lovely shots and the sky is ok as it is. I must admit, I have never heard of it, but will visit in the new year.
  11. Manor house is now a Champneys hotel & spa, drive up from entrance at Boughton Alup. Free to wander around gardens.
  12. I like your POV in the second with the shadows showing the detail of the stonework.
