Early Purple Orchids

Trolled over to High Halden [nr Tenterden] today, Green Winged orchid hunting, found one there 4 yrs ago, but not today, good show of Early Purples tho.

What lovely looking things, especially the leaves. Number 4 is my fave - colours spot on and just the right amount of DoF.

Excellent series of these with nice dof. I loike the way they stand out from the bg which isn't always easy
