Favourite place of mine, created a fair few threads here from it! Good set, and a place well worth a wander.
Nicely done, Stan. Spent many happy hours around Dovestones, and also up on the moors, around Chew reservoir, and Laddow Rocks.
Near Oldham mate not far to drive, car park there and toilets, nice walk round it on good paths. Google it for location and info.
Also about thirty minutes walk from Greenfield Station, on the Manchester Piccadilly/Huddersfield line.
Nice area ,RSPB reserve also -great shots like the first one and I like it even more cropped in a bit ,very cowd up there in winter.
Somewhere I haven't been, looks ace. First shot is a belter. Saying that the second is pretty good too, the black water and craggy rocks in the sunlight works a treat.
I think @stanokella brought us some from there recently too. It's on the list. Shot one here for me please. The second might benefit from a re-mangle.
No1 has the good light, composition, colours and reflections. No2 doesn't do it for me. Looks like a great place to visit.
