Ok - lets have a look then… dreamt heater - Putty (cat) in his hands Yep - that a really nice shot. lovely tones / processing too. Not much to add really - very nicely done! Stansgang - Handpumps How could I not like this? I bought and supper the beer - it was marvellous! The pic isn't bad either As an image it's just the blurry hat that takes the edge off. Blade - Weeping Angel Dr Who beasties - and from one of my favourite episodes. Not especially done well by them - and the background of security fence and speaker really lets it down. Blade - Weeping Angel 2 I like this more than the first one - a step right to exclude that background nastiness could have made this a contender (plus some sharp scary teeth by her!) dreamtheatre - Handshake Oh yes now this is good. Superb idea and execution. Top drawer! davep90 - Crystal views Really nice idea and well executed. The hand is almost incidental so loses a few marks but otherwise it's a clever and well shot image. Stansgang - Preying for a win int comp Nice idea and well thought out. Foinavon - That's handy Like this a lot - great idea and nicely abstract with the lack of head/face. Bit grainy though Blandy - Hand of a child Really nice sharp insect pic but again the "Hands" theme is a bit incidental. Jeffnh - Endearment Nicely grabbed and a lovely moment caught. Dvorak - Happy hands Another really nice grab shot. Let down by the obvious "Looking at the wrong camera" mode. Dvorak - Making his point Much better and I love that hand motion! mac_rowe - Holding The Baby A classic maternity shot and nicely side-lit. Let down a bit for me by the sideways forearm. Both hands coming from the back for a more symmetrical composition would have made this much stronger for me. Well - separating three out for the nod isn't easy. Some fine shots here! First place - dreamtheater - Handshake. At least 1st place was an easy choice - a clear winner. Second place - Foinavon - That's handy Third place - Dvorak - Making his point
