Some really cool shots here - thanks everyone. Ok - the scores on the doors 1. Sud monster by Deebo Soapy Elvis or maybe Alvin Stardust. I LOVE THIS SHOT! ‘nuff aid really - it’s a cracker! 2. Smithy brook by Stansgang Another good one. I think I’d have removed that metal thing in the water, but congrats on getting smooth water AND a still young lad! 3. Overflow by Jeffnh I know it well. Middly but it works. 1/50” has given just enough movement. I think losing half the sky would improve it. 4. Crosby by Markay A forum favourite spot (for some of us) and a nice composition. A 3rd figure would have improved it I think - and a better exposure on the sky. I'd have exposed for that moody sky and popped the figure with a bit of fill flash. 5. Denis by Spenian A nice fun shot - I love how the nose is sharp in the middle of the spin 6. Full up by Jeffnh One of those shots that looks a bit boring on first glance - but the more you look the more you see. I like that in a photo 7. Wet rose by Drei Lowen Lovely shot this. Bit too much headroom maybe but a great balance between soft rose look and getting just enough in focus to make it work. 8. Ripples by Foinavon A nice mono and nice composition. A bit more attention to detail by removing some of the floating blobs, and a little less noise to emphasize the smooth water - and this would have been a top three shot. 9. Wet mush by stanokella Nice shot and nice reflection. White floating blobs spoil the reflection a bit still a nice one. Some odd blues going on in the background too. 10. Stowe pool by Dvorak That skyline looks more Barcelona than England! Nice comp with the rays but the highlights are too far gone for me.
