Wow! What a fab 4 days. Togged lots slept little!

    Some of my faves.

    Full gallery on BookFace here.

Thursday - a wierd mix. A jazz interpretation of Holst's "The Planets" - it worked!

    3. Without a doubt the best Trombone player I've heard. And I've heard a few!

Friday - Salena Jones and her Quintet. 89 years old and sounding fantastic.

    Saturday - Alan Barnes +11

Sunday - The Louis Dowdeswell Big Band

  2. What a great set - the variety of mono, colour and angles adds to the feel of the concert(s) All good, especially the last one
  3. Excellent set like em all :)
  4. Fabulous set! :)
  5. Dvorak

    Dvorak The Horizon Police

Crisp, clear and full of the right mood, conjuring up those clubs of old. ISO managed superbly well: no issues to report.

Wonderful to see and I am sure to hear. I'm not a jazz connoisseur although the Planets gig would've been of interest.
  6. All excellent, the b&w work really well.

  8. Number 12 is exceptional but most of these are quite superb anyway. (As usual) Jazz in the key of G has some interesting chord variations in there!
