A load of adverts for pet portraits recently turned up in my FB feed. Yesterday I thought I would test out my PS skills (or lack of). I never could get the hang of the selection tools, so I figured out my own method

It would have to be Photoshop to do that to a cat, or at least there would be blood on the shirt.

That's the cat's whiskers, that is.

And as for the title of the thread: full marks for that as I'm sure it's never been used on here before (and boy, we've had a few cat portraits now, haven't we?!?).

Reminds me of some early oil paintings where this sort of stuff was all the rage,well executed.
