Ok - LANDSCAPES!

Usual rules apply.

800-1024px along widest edge.

300k File size or less - upped from 250 because of subject :)

Time stretched a bit to get 3 weekends in :)

excellent!

A little bit easier a subject than the last one..... tho I would say it'd be nice to re-run this one come the summer...

Thank you, Mr Danger. We went to Tatton armed with sledge and hot flasks, but it was melting rapidly, so you see all that was left by the time we arrived. Howls of protests from the under 7s in our party.

Nice shots!

Alas - way too big for the comp!

Dangermouse
14-03-2006, 09:24 PM
Too big in filesize, just to clarify ;)

Just compress the JPEG a bit more and you won't loose any quality at that size :)

OK. Sized and back for more. Do I win?

Nah, I don't fancy sitting next to Oy either  ;) :D

Ha! No chance of sitting next to Mr Oy. There will be too much hand luggage (ie lenses, batteries, filters) barracaded on either side!

Plus, buried under there somewhere will be his sherpa (aka daughter), probably complaining (rightly so) about children's rights etc.

Nice shots!

Alas - way too big for the comp!

Haven't the rules of the competitions been relaxed ? I thought they had. :?
Over half of last month's entries didn't comply exactly to the rules , so I assumed minor infringements were being overlooked.
It's not as if anyone gains any advantage by not submitting the correct EXIF details requested or similar oversights.

I was in a hurry when I put up the poll last month and missed a few. I won't let it happen again :D

Join the club. I don't reckon I've seen blue sky, the sun, a sunset or any decent light for photography in the last two weeks.

Does it count if I take a shot of a landscape print on my wall?

I've got a couple of likely candidates so far. Snowy Rivington shots from last weekend.

Unless the sun comes out tomorrow, I'll be sitting this one out. I just haven't had the weather coinciding with time off :(

Managed to get out this afternoon, but didn't really have the time or conditions I'd like for a competition subject like this.

If a miracle happens and we have a nice sunset, I might pop out later, but I doubt it:
