Damn that hill was a steep climb

Still, thought it was necessary to get some shots of the Abbey. Would have got more but it cost £4 to get in and I'm skint - so....

... and the best fish 'n chips in the world ..... (probably) :D

Not been for years DM. I bet it hasn't changed a bit. Do they still do the ghost walks through those old , narrow , streets ?

I believe so - I love the place, and if anyone's in the area about 10 miles up the road is a lovely place called Runswick Bay. Fish n Chips are still excellent, as are the freshly smoked kippers.

One of my favourite places,Whitby. Never been for years now,but in the past I enjoyed seafishing(boat),Eating(the magpie cafe)& the little kipper smoking cabins, south side of the estuary +good ale & company.
A very picturesque place,as is Staithes up the coast,Captain Cooks' birthplace.
The Magpie is having probs now , with the queues of people waiting to get in,but there are other cheaper cafes, almost as good (don't forget to order"Whitby Cod",you can see the difference,& what a diff. :D )

Still got me whitby lucky duck
