View Full Version : Bi-Weekly competitions info
Ok - new competiton format!
These will be Bi-Weekly - i.e. they last just 2 weeks.
Same rules as the old Monthly comps regarding file dimensions & sizes etc.
I'll choose the subjects for now and see how we go.
At the end of the two weeks we will hold a poll to decide the winner.
Only those that have entered are allowed to vote :D
Over time we'll keep a league table of results...
Entering the comp gets to 1 point.
Coming 2nd gets you 5 points.
Winning gets you 10 points.
In the event of a tie - we'll vote again just on those tied photos.
The first theme will be "Autumn" :D
See the thread for this comp for full details

What's happening about last month's competition poll , and the subject for the next one ?
Have I missed something while I was away ? :?
Ah yes!
I was waiting for you two to get back before I did the poll.
Then I forgot! :)
I'll sort it soon.
Subject of next one? Dunno - any ideas?

Yeah - make it rain! :D
If we have that as a subject for a competition, it's bound to not rain for the whole two weeks the comp is running

Oy has been in touch with me wanting to know if we have chosen a subject yet.
If no one objects before midnight tonight , DM and I propose "Springtime"

Well I reckon that's the most wide ranging.
It can incorporate weather, flora & fauna, people, even Easter at a stretch (Ianm can even take pictures of the eggs he seems to like so much ;) )

Oy has been in touch again. He suggests "Welsh Castles"
We're having none of that , are we ?

Maybe we should make it Barcelona - and all pics must have been taken between the 28th March and 1st April ;)
Tell him he can only submit a Welsh castle if he can pronounce the name (phonetically), spell it, and translate it

OK , no objections received so the subject is "Springtime".
Closing date midnight 23rd April.
Usual rules apply so please read them again and make sure your entry conforms to them this time.
Some people have had entries disqualified in previous months. It's not fair to them if the rules aren't applied to everyone across the board.
Hi, where are the usual rules? i can not find them :(
