Now, the clubs do seem to love Goth or steam punkers togged against baroque backdrops. Even though I've not been near a club in years I thought I'd seen every possible variation. I really like the off-centre arch placement here and it's solidity as a frame: good choice. The brighter areas of the stone distract and I think burning them back would do the trick here.
Nice bit of vignette would helpnot a long nicely. Great idea and executed well, maybe just a touch of contact shadow around the hammer and feet to ground him.
Only thing I don't like is the dark shadow area around the hammer he is bathed in light and the shadow wouldn't be there, that is if its supposed to be a shadow.If left in then the part dropping off the step should be vertical not following the same line.
