Steaming out of Whitby

    The first train pic of our hols on a gloomy evening today.

    Thompson Class B1 no 1264 departs Whitby to Pickering with the last train of the day on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

  8. Super photo, I’ve just had a weekend in the Lake District and went on the Lakeside railway, these heritage railways are a real pleasure to see.

    Thanks folks - I didn’t get the shot I wanted but we have all week and it’s only a 2min Wales from our digs :)

    Nice little railway that. Did you go round the engine shed at Haverthwaite? Beltin cafe on that station too! :)
