Nice engines Jubilee Class. Can’t be long now til Galatea’s boiler ticket runs out. Next year I think.
A nice pic on a bad bend,the loco looks ready to come off the rails.
It must be nearly due, its done some miles this year.

Zoom compression often makes track look very odd.

Scarborough is a end of the line, and this platform has a buffer stop you can stand behind, and the zoom does the rest.
Great shot that, That bend in the track reminds me of an earthquake we had here about 20 years ago at a place called Mt Edgecombe in the Bay of Plenty , where the ground moves sideways by about 4 Mtrs. The only difference was, the photographer who took the shot for the local paper was up close, not at a distance with a zoom.
