Heart of Palm

Discussion in 'Flora & fauna' started by Shirlm, Oct 27, 2019.

  1. While in the Dominican Republic I started to notice the variety of palms that grew there mainly by the bark then when looking up the differing fruit.
Decided to take a few shots showing some of the varieties. I'm guessing the first few are varieties of date and the last coconut.

Same likes for me, very pleasant indeed.
  5. Nice shots and I'm being different and like No1 for the shadows :)
  6. The last one for me. It has a stronger composition and the light and colours are stunning :)
  7. Thanks everyone, the last was catching the evening light which helped bring out the colours.
I'm with @gasman though liking the shadows and the red 'berries' in #1
  8. Great set Shirley I somehow missed these. All good, like the first with the shadows of the Palm on the wall and the vibrancy of the last one.
