Always spectacular: Autumn in the Lakes. Stunning landscapes: as long as there's an orange tree I am happy. But that third one with the heavy clouds and that light...! Impressive.
Great landscape shots that, I like the first best with the view leading the eye to the far hills. Is that the Lake district?
Each one is a great shot, one thing they teach if you intend to climb in the lakes or anywhere always carry a compass and map and know how to use them, the clouds roll in when up high and visibility is nil.
Ta Yep - been there done that and had the right kit. By the time I got down off Bowfell in horrendous conditions there were 4 helicopters out looking for those who hadn't!
2nd shot is awesome. And I should imagine that it's a little bit grim underneath those clouds if up on the fell. And this just shows how the weather can change in an instance.
