Just a question I got my knuckles rapped as my photo was 4 months old in these sub competitions do you have to take a photo in the subject matter following the announcement what the subject is? And then these are critiqued ? Sorry I am fairly new and just wondering what the format is - thanks

Yes mate. The winner chooses the rules and theme for the next comp and you submit images taken within that time frame. The idea is that you go out and take an image with the theme in mind rather than just pick one from your back catalog.
