  1. Playing with a 10mm-20mm lens.
Frontage of the long gone Liverpool Exchange Station, Tithebarn Street.

Love a 10-20mm. My first was tested in Liverpool too.

For a moment from the title line I thought this would be an old shot of the old station, but that's the view now.

For me, street views need a little extra to stand out as a single photo. More of the figure on the right, or less, but as we have it, it'll become a terrific memory whenever the architecture changes (although hopefully not to the horrors of the 60s stuff behind you here).
  3. As it appeared yesterday lunchtime. Mind you, given Liverpool's penchant for throwing office and apartment blocks up arbitrarily, the view could well have changed now. ;)

    Stansgang Keep it straight!

I like it for its unusual quietness and that light, the road is a nice lead in.
  5. Having the "keep clear" big in the picture, due to the use of the wide angle, allows you to have clear streets. Were you at 10 or 20? I really love skies at the widest setting.
  6. All around the 10mm mark.
  7. Never been to Liverpool. It looks worth a visit. Nice shot :)
