I really admire folk for trying different things and sharing ideas.

Shot one is a good go but it comes together well in the second for sure. Nice work.

First for me is just a mishmash,No2 is therefore my choice.

I can see what you were trying to do in No1, however, it doesn't work for me. Possibly a wider view? No2 is better.

I was thinking to myself looking at the first shot it could do with being more focused on the leafs, then I scrolled down and bingo. Good spot and shot.

Thanks for the comments, i enjoy trying something a bit different even if it doesn't quite work out.

I like the lead in light in 1. Possibly lower as @Oy says.
