We were in Widnes for a computer fayre and I grabbed a few minute with the X100.

Those who know its lens will note that I needed some stitching help from Adobe to make one of these shots of the 330 metre through arch bridge over the Mersey...

  2. An excellent set. One of my favourite locations!
  3. Can't be that far from re-opening.
I like the framing from the old slipway.

Cheers. Restricted on angles with a fixed 23mm lens.

There were pedestrians on the bridge: cars to follow soon I am sure now.
  5. wonderful shots. The second with the bicycle is fantastic.
  6. I think the footpath has been open while the works been going on, and when it opens to traffic again don't forget it has a toll. :shut:

The classic No3 working well again :)
  8. Great pov in all shots.
  9. A nice set, especially No3. An excellent angle and moody sky.
  10. know exactly where you are. I've been at that spot many times. Love the washed up bike. Silver Jublilee is looking nicer. It was all scaffolded up for quite a while.
  11. It's the last one for me. The framing makes it a much stronger image :)
  12. Not seen this in while since they stuck up the toll one, avoid the area!!

Class pics of it, its a cracking bridge.
  13. That last shot for me is heads and shoulders above the others, good as they are that one is outstanding. It reminds me of DUMBO..Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass

  15. I like em all ,the bike one expecially
